Refund policy
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at latelier@dfiinteriors.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: L'Atelier by DFI 150 Church Street Newton MA 02458.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
Because many of our items are sourced in limited quantities or are artisanal in nature, we offer store credit or exchanges only.

Return Window
We accept returns within 14 days of purchase. Items must be unused, in original condition, and in their original packaging.
Return Process
To initiate a return:
- Contact us at latelier@dfiinteriors.com with your order number and a brief description of why you'd like to return the item
- We'll provide you with return shipping instructions
- Please carefully wrap the item(s) in original packaging to prevent damage during transport
- Ship the return to us at your own cost
We recommend using tracked shipping so you can monitor your return in transit.
Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We encourage you to select an insured shipping method to protect your items in transit. Once we receive and inspect your return, store credit will be issued to your account.
Refund Processing
Upon receipt and inspection of your return, store credit will be issued within 10 business days. Store credit can be used toward any future purchase from L'Atelier and never expires.
Packaging & Condition Requirements
To protect the integrity of each piece and ensure it remains in pristine condition for the next owner:
- Items must be returned in their original, undamaged packaging
- Items should be carefully wrapped to prevent breakage or damage during return shipping
- The item must be unused and in its original condition
- All protective materials (tissue, wrapping, boxes) should be preserved and included in the return
